Connecting Weekly
Back to School Block Party & Movie Night
School is back in session, but let’s still gather for a party. Join us for a block party with games, bounce houses, snow cones, popcorn, crafts, face-painting, and more followed by an outdoor movie. This is a great event to reach out to our neighbors where we plant to invite students and staff from Church Creek Elementary to join us.
Help us spread the word and bring some friends!

Fancy Coffee Bar Sunday - September 13
On Sunday, September 13 stick around after the service for a fancy coffee, tea, and lemonade bar. Meet some people, make some deeper friends.
Preschool Story Time
Got preschoolers at home? Have some friends that would love to get together to play? Come join us at the Riverside Community playground for an hour of games, songs, stories, and playing together.

Back to Church Sunday & Breakfast for Lunch - September 20
Sunday, September 20 will be our Back to church Sunday followed by a free “Breakfast for Lunch” spread of food for all. If you or one of your friends have gotten out of the habit of coming ot church, this is a great Sunday to reengage and come back. This service will be designed to welcome you back and show you how gathering for church is healthy for your life and soul.

Mid-Week Gathering Launch - September 23
On Wednesday, September 23 we will be kicking of our Mid-Week Gatherings. These will meet on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month with a chance for deeper connection, discipleship, and worship during the week. They will run from 6:45-8:00pm. We are working on childcare options, so stay tuned for more details. it stand out
Stick around after church on Sunday, September 27 where you can take part on Growth Track 4. Missed, growth track 1-3…no problem, we are making an exception to the normal order of our classes so you can jump right into this special class. In Growth Track 4 we talk about how to take the gospel to the nations, starting in your own back yard. Learn to share your faith with confidence and get a picture of what God is doing around the world.
Class from 11:30-1:00pm and includes lunch.
Worship Ministry Opportunities
Every Sunday, our Worship and Tech Teams help create an environment where people can focus on Jesus, hear the gospel clearly, and engage in worship together. From musicians and vocalists to sound, slides, cameras, and other behind-the-scenes roles, each person plays an important part in helping our Sunday gathering happen with excellence and purpose.
We praying for more musicians especially in keyboards, bass, electric. We are also immediately looking to add 4 new people to our tech team to help run sound, cameras, and media each service.
You do not need to be an expert to get involved, especially in tech. We will train anyone who is willing to learn and serve. If you enjoy music, technology, production, or simply want to help make Sundays better for others, there is a place for you on the team.
Fall Opportunities for Gospel Sharing
Pray for our upcoming Block Party/Movie Night, and Back to Church Sunday. Ask God to provide people willing to serve, give us boldness to invite others, and use these opportunities to help people encounter Jesus and experience life change. Fall is a great time to share our faith and help others explore their faith.
Fall Discipleship
Pray for people to take meaningful next steps in their faith this fall through Groups and Midweek gatherings. Ask God to move people beyond simply attending toward deeper relationships, spiritual growth, and active discipleship.
Wisdom for Growth
We are out of space. With almost 160 in the service on Sunday, we had room for just 3-4 more families before we were at total capacity. Pray for wisdom as our church continues to grow and we prepare for the possibility of two Sunday services. Ask God to give our leaders clarity, unity, and discernment as we make decisions about timing, teams, space, and ministry needsand that growth would mean more people connecting to Jesus, growing as disciples, and joining the mission.
