Goodbye Summer Celebration: Outdoor Church & Cookout - September 6
Bring your lawn chair and your appetites! On Sunday, September 6 we will celebrate the end of summer with an outdoor worship service followed by a potluck cookout. We will have burgers and hotdogs, but bring a side or dessert to share. We will also have some yard games and fun options for your family to connect.

Preschool Story Time
Got preschoolers at home? Have some friends that would love to get together to play? Come join us at the Riverside Community playground for an hour of games, songs, stories, and playing together.

Fancy Coffee Bar Sunday - September 13
On Sunday, September 13 stick around after the service for a fancy coffee, tea, and lemonade bar. Meet some people, make some deeper friends.
Back to Church Sunday & Breakfast for Lunch - September 20
Sunday, September 20 will be our Back to church Sunday followed by a free “Breakfast for Lunch” spread of food for all. If you or one of your friends have gotten out of the habit of coming ot church, this is a great Sunday to reengage and come back. This service will be designed to welcome you back and show you how gathering for church is healthy for your life and soul.

Back to School Outdoor Movie & Block Party - September 18
School is back in session, but let’s still gather for a party. Join us for a block party with games, bounce houses, snow cones, popcorn, crafts, face-painting, and more followed by an outdoor movie. Help us spread the word and bring some friends.

Mid-Week Gathering Launch - September 23
On Wednesday, September 23 we will be kicking of our Mid-Week Gatherings. These will meet on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month with a chance for deeper connection, discipleship, and worship during the week. They will run from 6:45-8:00pm. We are working on childcare options, so stay tuned for more details.
Growth Track 4 - September 27
Stick around after church on Sunday, September 27 where you can take part on Growth Track 4. Missed, growth track 1-3…no problem, we are making an exception to the normal order of our classes so you can jump right into this special class. In Growth Track 4 we talk about how to take the gospel to the nations, starting in your own back yard. Learn to share your faith with confidence and get a picture of what God is doing around the world.
Class from from 11:30-1:00pm and includes lunch

Serve in Connecting Students
Our Connecting Students meet weekly on Tuesday evenings at 6:30pm. Kaylee oversees this group and does a great job engaging with the students, but the group has grown in the last 3 months and we need help. If you have a passion to connect and disciple teenagers, let’s talk about taking next steps. You could help set up, organize, hang out with teens, lead small groups, etc. All roles are needed. There is no greater place to serve and be challenged like investing in the next generation.

Pray With Us This Week.
1. Kids Returning to School
Pray for the students, teachers, administrators, and families in our community as a new school year begins. Ask God to give students confidence and good friendships, strengthen teachers, and help our church be a source of encouragement and hope throughout the school year.
2. Fall Kickoff
Pray for the many opportunities ahead this fall as groups, ministries, events, and serving opportunities begin. Ask God to help people take meaningful next steps, build deeper relationships, and grow in their faith as we enter a new ministry season.
3. Wisdom with Growth
Thank God for the new people He continues to bring to our church, and pray for wisdom as we steward that growth. Ask God to give our leaders clarity about space, services, teams, and systems so that we can continue connecting people to Jesus, community, and purpose.
