Connecting Weekly
Back to Church Sunday & Breakfast for Lunch
Sunday, September 20 will be our Back to church Sunday followed by a free “Breakfast for Lunch” spread of food for all. If you or one of your friends have gotten out of the habit of coming ot church, this is a great Sunday to reengage and come back. This service will be designed to welcome you back and show you how gathering for church is healthy for your life and soul.

Back to School Block Party & Movie Night
School is back in session, but let’s still gather for a party. Join us for a block party with games, bounce houses, snow cones, popcorn, crafts, face-painting, and more followed by an outdoor movie. This is a great event to reach out to our neighbors where we plant to invite students and staff from Church Creek Elementary to join us.
Help us spread the word and bring some friends!

Lot’s of hands will be needed to serve, set up, and host this event.
Preschool Story Time
Got preschoolers at home? Have some friends that would love to get together to play? Come join us at the Riverside Community playground for an hour of games, songs, stories, and playing together.

Mid-Week Gathering Launch - September 23
On Wednesday, September 23 we will be kicking of our Mid-Week Gatherings. These will meet on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month with a chance for deeper connection, discipleship, and worship during the week. They will run from 6:45-8:00pm. We are working on childcare options, so stay tuned for more details. it stand out
Stick around after church on Sunday, September 27 where you can take part on Growth Track 4. Missed, growth track 1-3…no problem, we are making an exception to the normal order of our classes so you can jump right into this special class. In Growth Track 4 we talk about how to take the gospel to the nations, starting in your own back yard. Learn to share your faith with confidence and get a picture of what God is doing around the world.
Class from 11:30-1:00pm and includes lunch.
Join the Connecting Kids Team
As we prepare to move toward two Sunday services, one of our biggest needs is strengthening our Connecting Kids team. We are looking for 6–8 new people who are willing to help create a safe, welcoming, Jesus-centered environment for our kids each Sunday especially in our younger classes.
You don’t have to be a teacher or have years of experience. We need caring adults and students who are willing to serve, learn, and be part of a team. Whether you help welcome families, assist in a classroom, or support one of our leaders, your willingness to serve helps us make room for more families to experience Jesus and community.

Pray for the Block Party & Movie Night
Pray that our upcoming Block Party & Movie Night creates meaningful connections with families in our community. Ask God to provide plenty of volunteers, give us opportunities for gospel conversations, and help every guest feel welcomed and cared for.
Pray for your Back to Church Invites
Pray for boldness and intentionality as we invite friends, neighbors, coworkers, and family members to join us on this special Sunday. Ask God to prepare hearts, open doors for conversations, and use a simple invitation to help someone take a step toward Jesus and Christian community.
Pray for our Two Service Transition
Pray for wisdom as we prepare for moving to two Sunday services. Ask God to give our leaders clarity, raise up more people to serve, strengthen our ministry teams, and help us make this transition in a way that creates space for more people to connect with Jesus and His church.
