Baptism

Believer's Baptism is for those who have personally placed their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. It is a step taken after you receive salvation. If you've trusted Christ but have never been baptized as a believer, baptism is a great next step for you.

Why be baptized?

Jesus commanded it.

"Go therefore and make disciples... baptizing them.." (Matthew 28:19).

The early church practiced it.

From Pentecost onward, baptism was the first response to faith.

It is a witness to others.

Your baptism is your testimony. It says, "Jesus has saved me. I'm not ashamed."

Obedience brings joy.

Baptism doesn't make you more saved, but it does make your faith more visible and your obedience more complete.

What about infant baptism?

You may have grown up in a religious tradition that practiced infant baptism. We respect and value that part of your story-but we invite you to consider that believer's baptism is not a rejection of your past; it's a fulfillment of your present faith.

This is about your decision to follow Jesus, publicly and fully.
