Ministry Team Highlights - October 11th
Ministry Team Sunday is a great opportunity to discover the many ways you can serve and be part of what God is doing through our church. Come meet ministry leaders, hear about serving opportunities, and find a place where your gifts, passions, and heart for others can make a difference.

Church Work Day
Join us on Saturday, September 17, from 9:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. as we care for our church building together! We’ll be painting hallways, scrubbing the outside of the building, and other odd jobs!
Come ready to lend a hand, enjoy fellowship, and help make our church a welcoming place. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty!

Fall Study: Discovering God’s Will
Facing a decision? Wondering what’s next? You don’t have to figure it out alone.
This six session midweek study exploring how to seek God’s wisdom and take the next faithful step—even when the way forward isn’t clear.
Fall Festival 2026 - October 25
Join us on October 25 from 2–4 p.m. for an afternoon of food, bounce houses, games, candy, and fun for the whole family! Invite your friends and neighbors to come enjoy the afternoon with us.
We need your help to make it happen! There’s a place for everyone to serve from setting up and serving food to helping with bounce houses, hosting games, welcoming families, and more. Your help will make our guests feel welcome and cared for.
We’re also collecting candy donations through Sunday, October 18. Bring in a bag or two and help us get ready for a fun afternoon with our community!

Be the One. Bring One.
One invitation can make a difference. As we prepare to launch two Sunday services on November 8 at 9:00 AM and 10:45 AM, we’re inviting everyone at Connecting Church to pray for one person and take a step toward inviting them.
Start by naming your One—a friend, neighbor, coworker, or family member. Use our prayer guide to pray for them daily, connect through an ordinary conversation, and look for an opportunity to say, “Come sit with me.”
Our Bring One resource guide includes invitation ideas, sample texts, and encouragement to help you along the way. You don’t need perfect words—just a willingness to care and ask.

As we prepare to launch two services on November 8, join us in praying for our church, our neighbors, and the people we’ll welcome. Our daily prayer guide includes a focused prayer prompt and Scripture to help us seek God together.

Help our church share the message of Jesus and connect with our community! Whether you enjoy technology, creativity, or communication, there’s a place for you on the Media Team.

Fall Festival: Pray for a joyful event that brings our community together and creates opportunities to share the love of Jesus.
Church Creek Elementary: Pray for the students, teachers, staff, and families, asking God to encourage and strengthen them throughout the school year.
Opportunities to Share Jesus: Ask God to open doors for meaningful conversations and give us courage, wisdom, and love as we share Jesus with others.
