Connecting Weekly
Growth Track 1 & 2 - October 4
Stick around after church on October 4th for an opportunity to either take Growth Track 1 or Growth Track 2.
Growth Tracks are designed to help people take intentional next steps in their discipleship journey at Connecting Church. Together, the four courses move people from understanding the gospel and belonging to the church, to growing as disciples, discovering how God has uniquely equipped them, and finally living on mission by engaging others with the gospel. The goal is not simply to complete a set of classes, but to help people become increasingly connected to Jesus, community, and God’s purpose for their lives.
Growth Track 1 — Beginning Steps & Membership: This class establishes the foundation. Participants explore their relationship with God through Jesus, understand baptism, learn the mission, values, beliefs, and structure of Connecting Church, and discover what it means to become an active and committed church member. It answers questions like, “What do I believe, what is this church about, and what does it mean for me to belong here?”
Growth Track 2 — Discipleship & Growth: This class focuses on developing the habits and rhythms that help someone continue growing in their relationship with Jesus. It helps participants understand that spiritual growth is intentional and equips them to grow through Scripture, prayer, Christian community, and a personal plan for ongoing discipleship. The central question is, “How do I take responsibility for continuing to grow as a follower of Jesus?”
Classes run from 11:30-1:00pm and includes lunch.

Connecting Midweek 1st & 3rd Wednesdays
Fall Study: Discovering God’s Will
Facing a decision? Wondering what’s next? You don’t have to figure it out alone.
This six session midweek study exploring how to seek God’s wisdom and take the next faithful step—even when the way forward isn’t clear.
Preschool Story Time
Got preschoolers at home? Have some friends that would love to get together to play? Come join us at the Riverside Community playground for an hour of games, songs, stories, and playing together.

Fall Festival 2026 - October 25
Join us on October 25 from 2–4 p.m. for an afternoon of food, bounce houses, games, candy, and fun for the whole family! Invite your friends and neighbors to come enjoy the afternoon with us.
We need your help to make it happen! There’s a place for everyone to serve from setting up and serving food to helping with bounce houses, hosting games, welcoming families, and more. Your help will make our guests feel welcome and cared for.
We’re also collecting candy donations through Sunday, October 18. Bring in a bag or two and help us get ready for a fun afternoon with our community!
